My Story

Hi, I’m Allie Perniciaro—founder of BellaVita Health & Fitness, and an AFPA-certified Personal Trainer, NASM-Nutrition Coach, and Health Coach. My journey began years ago when I became an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor, and has since grown into a lifelong mission: helping women feel strong, supported, and well in every season of life.

Movement has always been a part of who I am. I grew up in traditional dance studios, dedicating hours to practice, performance, and discipline. I competed in pageants and held various titles—learning early on how fitness and self-confidence go hand in hand.

 

But it wasn’t until I became a mother- and lost my own mom when she was just 49 years old -that I truly understood the vital importance of health. That moment transformed my perspective. It motivated me to take my wellness seriously, not only for myself, but for the people that I love. It also deepened my purpose to help other women do the same.

That purpose became BellaVita Health & Fitness—a space where women feel seen, empowered, and equipped with the tools to thrive. When I'm not building BellaVita, I'm soaking up time with my family-my husband, our two pups, and our two boys. My youngest is 14, and my oldest is 20 and currently serving in the United States Navy. Movement is my anchor, travel is my joy, and I'm always finding beauty in new places and everyday routines.

 At BellaVita, I take a holistic approach to wellness through four core pillars:

  • Fitness – building strength, enhancing daily energy, and protecting your joints and bones through smart, seasonally appropriate training that supports longevity and confidence in movement.

  • Nutrition – educating women on sustainable, whole-food habits that support energy, strength, and hormonal shifts. Through behavior-based coaching, BellaVita provides practical tools for fueling your body in alignment with fitness and wellness goals.

  • Mindset – cultivating confidence, consistency, and self-compassion through mindset work that helps women overcome doubt, stay committed, and create meaningful momentum in their health journey.

  • Spiritual Well-Being – connecting to deeper purpose and inner peace through practices that promote reflection, self-trust, and alignment with your core values-because true wellness starts within.

As women move through their 30s, 40s, and beyond, their bodies begin to shift in ways that require a different kind of care. Hormonal changes, perimenopause symptoms, energy fluctuations, and body composition changes can leave many women feeling like what used to work no longer does.

The truth is—it’s not about doing more or pushing harder. It’s about doing what’s right for this season of life. That means smarter training, supportive fueling strategies, intentional recovery, and mindset practices that meet women where they are right now—not where they used to be.

Whether you’re currently pregnant and want to stay active, a new mom working to feel like yourself again, or a woman navigating midlife determined to reclaim your strength and energy—I see you. And I’m here to help.

Through 1:1 personal training, small group coaching, group fitness classes, and habit-based nutrition coaching, I help women thrive at every stage of life with real strategies that deliver lasting results.
